what to do about Bleeding Hemorrhoids?

i don’t know if its my period or just a hemorrhoid. but if it is an external bleeding hemorrhoid is it dangerous what should i do?

External bleeding hemorrhoids are noticed by small little lumps outside your anal area. Internal hemorrhoids symptoms are noticed by bleeding stools with slight bleeding and the bleeding is bright red blood. If the bleeding is other than bright red, get it checked by your doctor as it could be something more serious.
