What surgery be the best for my hemorrhoid condition?
I’m 21 years old. So I’ve had hemorrhoids for months now. I can’t seem to get rid of them. I eat 1-2 fruits per day, lettuce, some yogurts and drink only water… I use hemorrhoid pads for relieving the symptoms. I always knew I had hemorrhoids but didn’t go to the doctors because I thought it would disappear in less than a month. Since it’s still on going, I went to the doctors 3 days ago and he’s confirmed it by checking my anus. He told me "exercise, eat fruits and vegetables" and thats it. As much as I hate the idea of going into surgery, I feel like I need it.
The symptoms of hemorrhoids I have are pain during bowel movement and then itchy/burning feeling after bowel movement. Sometimes it really intensifies after when I walk to school or doing some form of walking. The itchy/burning feel cools down when I’m sitting though. I bleed "sometimes" when the stool is super dry.
What are you guys thoughts about this? Is this a serious condition?
Those of you who’s gotten hemorrhoid surgery before, how did it go and how fast was recovery?

Doctors don’t jump in and do surgery like this anymore unless it’s absolutely necessary. You see, they can come back in one dump if you tear or are constipated again.
Go to Walmarts and get the preparation H ointment and get the suppositories also. Then follow the directions on the box. Also, if they’re bothering you now, take a long hot bath so this will soothe them, the hemorrhoids. Then after each dump, wash yourself clean and use the preparation H. Follow the doctors advice about diet, it’s good advice.
i have internal hemorrhoids. my high fiber diet helps a lot. you should never have dry stool. you,re not getting enough water. ask the doc to prescribe a med that will give you relief. there are creams ,and also suppositories. you can also get a 2nd opinion from a surgeon that does hem’ surgery. mine don,t cause enough problems to require fixing. my surgeon has also used a chemical injection when i had flare up problems. this is actually not the least bit painful for internal hemorrhoids. external ones are another issue.
