What can I do best about hemorrhoids during pregnancy?

Are hemorrhoids normal during pregnancy? Please help, this is a very serious matter. I can’t keep my mind on anything!!! Don’t know if I need to focus on contractions or my butt!

Hemorrhoids are normal in the last 2/3 of your pregnancy.
Yes it is very normal. You can try to prevent it by drinking a lot of water, making sure you don’t get constipated for too long, eating a healthy diet full of fiber, not sitting down for a long period of time. I was extremely worried about those in the beginning of my pregnancy, I didn’t even know what they were until I read about them and I was sooo nervous. But, I haven’t gotten any, so it really depends. Just don’t worry so much. Good luck.
