Hemroid symptoms vary somewhat, but the most common complaint is burning and itching. Rectal bleeding isn’t usually caused by hemroids. Hemroid symptoms also include palpable fleshy lumps around or protruding from the anus, as well as not being able to complete a bowel movement (but not painful bowel movements – that usually indicates something else).
Although many people have hemroids, not all experience symptoms. If you experience, any of the following symptoms, you could have hemroids: Bleeding during bowel movements, Rectal bleeding after movement of bowels, Bright red blood found in stool, Mild burning during bowel movement, Protrusion in the course of bowel movements, Itching in the anal area, Pain during bowel movements, Sensitive or painful lump(s) on the anus.
hemmerhoids feel like grapes – but keep the appt. – rectal bleeding is a sign of some scary things (ie. cancer)

Hemorrhoid is not a dreaded or fatal disease. However, it may give birth to some other serious ailments and health complications If not treated in time. You may feel it ridiculous to read that about 60% people have this disease.
There are three phases of development of hemorrhoids – 1. Swelling of veins,
2. Patient experience symptoms of giddiness and weakness and 3. Blood stools. It is better to get hemorrhoids treated at first stage itself. Delayed treatment may cost you fortune, money and other complications.
Hemorrhoids can occur in any person irrespective of his age. It is said that internal body heat of person is root cause of this disease.
Based on the place of occurrence hemorrhoids are classified in two categories namely internal hemorrhoids and external hemorrhoids. Varicose veins of inner anus area get damaged due to digestion problems and leads to developing of internal hemorrhoids. In some cases the enlargement of these veins/lumps is so large that they strangulate out of anus opening. When these enlarged veins gets scraped due to hard stools or are unable to sustain inner pressure these veins burst and you experience painful blood stools.
Symptoms of external hemorrhoids can be seen by physical inspection of rectal region. You can easily notice extra growth of external hemorrhoids. Irritation and itching around rectal area, burning sensation around rectum are common symptoms of external hemorrhoids. In some cases of external hemorrhoids you may notice occurrence of blood stains along-with bowel.
We all have hemorrhoidal veins in the rectum, anal canal, and anus. When these veins become irritated and inflamed, they become hemorrhoids or piles, with the accompanying symptoms of swelling, pain, bleeding, itching, or burning sensation.
There are two types of hemorrhoids:
External hemorrhoids:
Hemorrhoids located outside of the anus are called external hemorrhoids. Here, swollen veins cause a soft lump around the anal opening. These lumps can turn hard if blood clot develops, and become painful thrombosed hemorrhoids. Since the anus has many nerve endings, external hemorrhoids can be very painful or itchy. Sometimes, the clot may even break out of the hemorrhoid by itself or dissolve back into normal blood circulation.
Internal hemorrhoids;
Internal hemorrhoids are located inside the rectum or anal canal, and are usually not painful. This is because the anal canal does not have many nerve endings. Indeed, most people are not aware that they have internal hemorrhoids until a hard stool rubbing against them cause these hemorrhoids to rupture and bleed.
Left untreated, some internal hemorrhoids can "prolapse" or be pushed out of the anal opening. Sometimes, the sphincter muscle can close shut in a spasm and trap this prolapsed hemorrhoid outside the anus. This cuts off the blood circulation, and creates a strangulated hemorrhoid.
Some prolapsed hemorrhoids can be manually "pushed" back inside the anus. Advanced cases of prolapsed hemorrhoids, however, must be surgically treated.
Prolapsed and strangulated hemorrhoid are a serious medical condition that requires immediate attention. Also, bleeding of any amount should be checked by a doctor since it may be an indication of more serious conditions, such as colorectal cancer.

First thing to do, is start drinking lots of water!!! GOBS of it!
Secondly, stop eating ALL red meat.
It could definitely be hemmoroids, because they can rupture (which is good, bcz it will relieve your pain), but when they do, they bleed…and can scare you badly.
Go to your Community Health Center and ask for a "Hemostat Kit"…they’ll give you one with instructions. you test yourself at home, and take the results back to them later. If you have a concern, they’ll phone you…(either way usually).
It’s not a joke, bcz my mum died of rectal cancer…but you are in a bit of a dilemma. Never put your health behind your money.. i.e., never put your health aside because of a lack of money!.
As for the ’symptoms’ …sometimes there aren’t any. So, that’s why you need to take the Hemostat test. Some systoms are pain during a bowel-movement (but you might not have pain)…
The ‘blod clot’ concerns me. Call your hospital ER and ask them if the hospital has some sort of "Charity program"…and GO.
Blessings!
You’re making a mistake that could kill you by not getting your tail over to the Emergency Room right away! There are two types of hemorrhoids – external and internal. The synmptoms are pain and bleeding. The bleeding can become severe, especially from internal hemorrhoids – and yes, you can have both types at the same time.
Your problem could also be from colon cancer – and if that were the case, you’d need immediate treatment.
Look, dude, you’re playing Russian Roulette with bullets in all six chambers! Frick worrying about money and gas – find some way to get your bloody behind over to that ER right NOW!
The problem with bowel cancer symptoms is that they could easily be caused by something less life-threatening.
They are:
rectal bleeding
a change in bowel habit
a feeling that you need to empty your bowels even when you have just been to the toilet
abdominal pain
Please see the webpages for more details and images on Hemorrhoids and colorectal cancer. I am enclosing the notes on bowel cancer purposely because you should know the symptoms beforehand.
…and, a little Vaseline jelly applied in the morning will stop the rubbing which makes it uncomfortable walking about.
