Rectal Bleeding with no other symptoms. ?
It started about three weeks ago and it started with very little blood. It only bleeds right after using the restroom (#2) and may drop one or two drops of blood. The blood is not dark. I thought it was Hemorrhoids but its been three weeks and only getting worse. Any ideas what I should have? Should i be going to the hospital or would it be ok to wait to go to the doctor (in about 5 days)? Thanks

Could be an Ulcer, nope you shouldn’t wait, that is serious business my friend.Especially since the blood isn’t dark. Please go asap.have you mentioned to the doctor’s receptionist that this is happening, maybe they can get you in right away,if they know what’s going on.
it could be dehydration that happened to my little sister when she hd the flu. drink allot of fluids and see if tht helps. if not see a doctor right away!

Possibly polyps on your intestine. Seems it should stop soon though. You do need to go to the doctor and find out the cause. Sounds like hemorrhroids but I am not a medical person so it’s best to find out from professionals.
I would go to the doctor to rule out any major disorders. Being that you said that is the only symptom without pain may be a good thing or maybe the problem hasn’t got worse yet. Check out Web Md. I have utilized their site for great advice but no advice can beat your personal physician.
Three week ago is a long time. I think you see a doctor asap, since you could be bleeding inside. You may have an intestine infection. I hope is nothing wrong. Take care.
causes of bleeding after passing stool.
fissure, fistula , haemorrhoids.
in fissure and fistula blood stained stool and in haemrrhoid bleeding after passing stool and it is a clear blood and painless. soif you have worsening the symtoms you consult a genral surgeon he is expert to give advise.
Sounds like heamorrhoids or polyps. If its fresh looking blood then most likely heamorrhoids. If its only a small amount of blood and not causing you any pain it should be ok, but if you losing a lot of blood or doesn’t start to ease up then see your dr. There are creams you can get from a pharmacy that help with haemorrhiods but if bad see your dr and you may need a colonoscopy…they put you to sleep and a thin scope is passed up the bowel. They may or may not band the haemorrhoids and they will take polyps out and you will need screening every few years if they are polyps can be pre cancerous. It could also be diverticulitis but if no pain then unlikey.
Try and increase fibre in your diet and water consumption as straining and constipation make the passage harder and will cause trauma when you trying to do a poo.
Good luck
