prostate problem or hemorrhoids?
i’ve been having a feeling that something in my prostate/perineum area is enlarged. i notice this when i am sitting down. i know i have some external hemorrhoids, but i’m not sure if what i’m feeling is internal. is it possible that a hemorrhoid could affect my prostate? i’ve been having difficulty urinating and a slight burning pain in my urethra (NOT while urinating). any help is appreciated.

Any bleeding or pain coming from the anus should be checked by a professional to rule out more serious conditions.
Bleeding and/or pain from the anal channel does not only relate to hemorrhoids or piles it can also be caused by much more serious conditions such as cancer or polyps (small growths in the anal channel).
Medical professionals can do an examination of the rectum through a tube. The procedure is known as proctoscopy and is absolutely necessary to rule out cancer or polyps.
I would reccomend that you do not fool around with this. Go and see a doctor as soon as possible. If it turns out that you do have hemorrhoids you will find some very helpful advice on the site below and a free report to find out:
