Kinda embarrassing question, hemorrhoids?

A couple years ago I went to the doctor because I was bleeding a lot when I went to the bathroom and my doctor did an exam and said it could be a fissure or hemorrhoids and that was that. Well, i think for a yr or so now everytime I goto the bathroom it’s still painful and I sumtimes I bleed only a little. Is this normal? Is it just hemorrhoids? I mean I am a healthy eater.

After two years, I’d go check this out again. You want to stay on top of this. Fissures especially can cause you problems later on. Find a doctor who will actually look and examine the problem area.
Have you tried any of those over-the-counter remedies?
I keep Tucks on hand for my husband. They help relieve the swelling and sometimes his hemorrhoid goes away for several months at a time.
