Is it normal to have a Bleeding Hemorrhoid?

I’m 30 weeks pregnant and have had this hemorrhoid for 4 days. I got lidocaine from the doc on friday and it has begun to go away. When I went to put on the cream before bed, I noticed it was bleeding severely. Is this normal or should I go to the ER?

Depends how severe, but bleeding is common and expected. Chances are its normal but since your pregnant why not go to the doctors just to have a check up anyways.
As long as you are sure the bleeding is from the hemorrhoid and not your vagina, no need to go to the ER. Hemorrhoids bleed and lidocaine will only numb the area to take care of pain, it will do nothing to heal it. Call you OB in the am and get a recommendation on what to do.
