Surgery or preparation H that’s all there is.
just be happy they’re not internal…
use preperation h…and keep your bottom clean.
Get a prescription cream or suppositories. Both can ease your pain and irritation until they subside on their own. Also, use Tucks after each bowel movement to keep the area extremely clean and calm. I know it’s a weird, embarrassing thing to talk about but they are soooooooo common after having a baby.
Good luck! They’ll get better.
The only things I’ve found that relief them is:
Tucks pads (Lined up on a panty liner near the irritated area, and just leave them in for an hour or so)
Spray yourself with Dermaplast often to help with the pain (if they are painful)
Preperation H works miracles!!
I’ve had them off and on throughout my pregnancies, and even after birth they still like to pop up and say hello sometimes. Only thing that gets rid of them is surgery.
Try using witch hazel (the active ingredient in Tucks and Preperation H) to soothe the burning. Ask your pharmacist for a stool softener to help keep them from getting worse. If they don’t improve, or if they get worse, then you may have to consider surgery. Talk to your doctor.
There are lots of good creams you can buy over the counter at the chemist and at some grocery stores.
Also gently pushing them in, while in the shower or bath will help too.
The are just protruding veins and have nothing to do with hygene but more to do with extra straining from constipation, pressure from the extra weight, and hormones.
Make sure you drink plenty of water and eat lots of high fibre foods to prevent constipation.
Do you be useding any protecting when you have sex.
Completely in around 2 weeks , you will have a few days of pain and then it will decrease but you will need to use a topical cream, try proctosedyl ointment for the treatment of haemorrhoid’s. I think you can get it over the counter, it works.
I read on a pregnancy website that putting some baking soda in your bath water helps.
