Medication only helps with the symptoms, it is not a cure at all. Nowaday they can cut, burn, or freeze them off, and then the problem is gone.
You can get creams for them. He’ll have to see a doctor though and get a prescription. If he has already tried creams and other medications and they’ve not worked, then maybe surgery is the best option.
Medications are only a temporary solution(Creams such as preparation H). I believe now they do laser surgery. It is suppose to be painless and resolve the problem.
Surgery is reserved for severe cases of hemorrhoids which can’t be treated in other ways. Nature’s Perfect Remedy for Hemorrhoids has a good reputation for customer satisfaction.
NPR contains horse chestnut which has anti-inflammatory qualities and it is available over the counter.
A supplement called Horse Chestnut Seed Extract is the best treatment I’ve found for hemorrhoids. It strengthens the blood vessels in the legs. You can get it at a health food store for 2 or 3 dollars a bottle.
There are various good hemorrhoids treatment options in the market. One is Rue Care Oil – all natural, it shrinks the hemorrhoids, stops the bleeding (if any), and strengthens the veins, and so prevent hemorrhoids from returning. To get truly lasting results it is also important to treat the cause of hemorrhoids, because as long as the cause stays in the body, hemorrhoids will continue to develop.
