how common is hemorrhoids in children?

my friend has a little boy he’s one years old and we think that he may have hemorrhoids but were not for sure is this common in toddlers if so besides going to the doc what are some at home treatments we could try would they be the same as adults.

Its not uncommon for young children to have hemorrhoids but its not something you should use adults cream for it will be to strong, he needs to be seen by a doctor to see if it in fact hemorrhoids
This child should see a doctor ASAP – hemorrhoids are not common in children. Please please please take this child to the doctor ASAP if you have reason to suspect hemorrhoids then this child needs medical attention.
that is in no way common in children it could be serious i would visit a docter
