Hemorrhoids??? Please Help?

For the past 3 days or so, my mom has been having a lot of blood in her stool and the doctor thinks it is hemorrhoids and says "Don’t worry". She is really nervous and has been having bad dreams. Will she be ok? Will she live? She says a lot of blood comes out…
What can she do to cure herself? What should she eat for example?

Blood in the stool is not something to be taken lightly. She could have something more serious than hemorrhoids. She definitely needs to get a colonscopy, soon! Have her get an appointment with a gastroenterologist aka colon doctor to examine her and possibly get a colonoscopy scheduled. It could be poylps or tumors causing the bleeding also. Definitely needs attention.
This is a very good question. You should definitely not eat processed and chemically-enhanced foods. But that is not the only thing you need to look into when you want to handle your hemorrhoids problem. I actually found a great site for you that you might want to check out. If the doctor has actually seen the area and claims it is hemorrhoids, then take a deep breath and be happy that is not a life threatening disorder
She should be concerned if the meds or dietary changes dont help and should possibly seek a second opinion if there really is too much blood.
