my mum has jus had surgury, when will she be out of hospital?

It depends on type of surgery. Band ligation is a minor procedure, may be requiring couple of days’ hospitalization. Haemorrhoidectomy, specially for multiple hemorrhoids, needs a longer stay for 5-7 days. She should recover completely that is more important, couple of days hospitalization (though uncomfortable for the whole family) will be worth the permanent good result.
