Hemorrhoid queation?
I think I have a hemorrhoid and have since giving birth to my daughter a few months ago. The thing is I don’t have the itching and pain of them, or atleast not very often. Tonight when I went to the bathroom-bowel movement- there was a good amount of bright right blood- no pain or straining. I don’t have a sitter for my girl so I can’t get to the doctors, I am just wondering if it is possible to have these with bleeding but without the other symptoms. I have hemorhoid cream – Anusol-would it help tonight? The other thing is the box doesn’t say how long you should use the product just how often. Some advice to ease my worry would be great

First response is unduly pessimistic. Hemorrhoid veins can tear during defecation, showing blood; this usually heals up routinely. The syndrome called hemorrhoids is a swelling of one of these veins, caused by a blood clot inside; the swollen vein may itch or exude fluid. Since aspirin is a known anti-clotting agent, it is a cheap experiment, if you have the symptoms, to take aspirin in the maximum dosage recommended on the bottle; this can cause the swelling to abate sooner than it otherwise would.
Rectal bleeding at any age, any time demands a visit to ER or doctor REAL soon.
