I just saw blood on my stool right now and most likely it’s hemorrhoids right?
I have had constipation a long time and I guess that was the cause of this. I’m 14 and healthy and I’m afraid of these hemorrhoids, what should I do? if ever I visit the doctor, what would she do to me?

A few questions. Is the blood bright red, which it should be at your age.
this would indicate that the blood was coming from the anus and not further up.
next was it painful or sore around the anus. this is just a check for an anal fissure.
Go to the doctor and they will take a quick look for you and diagnose you straight away. its not a problem at all but can be painful until treated but in most case hemorrhoids receded by themselves and anal fissure heal quickly as well. But some cream would help and a doctor will give you peace of mind.
It probably was hemorrhoids. It’s very common for there to be blood and there can be quite a bit. It’s pretty scary, even when you know what they are. You can buy some over the counter cream for it, just put it on the t.p. and wipe with it. If you’re feeling itchy at all or can’t get comfortable sitting, then it’s definantly hemorrhoids. A Dr. would have to look to examine the area, but they’d most likely prescribe the cream. If it were a huge problem there is a procedure they can do which basically uses a laser to bun them off. But, I don’t know many people that have had to do that.
If you have discovered that you have the condition called hemorrhoids you are certainly not alone. This ailment has been known to affect many people at different points during their lives. The causes are large in number; they range from genetics to pregnancy to prolonged sitting and/or bowel troubles like constipation. Hemorrhoids can also come in different severity levels which means that there are different treatment methods that can be used. It will also be important to keep in mind that you should visit a doctor when you have symptoms, especially if rectal bleeding is present.
For a mild case you may want to consider a few of the at home and over-the-counter remedies. The two things you’ll want to do are making sure your stools are easy to pass and easing the pain by using a topical application. You can make your bowel movements easier to pass by taking a stool softener or by using the natural alternative of increasing the amount of fiber in your diet. When it comes to soothing the pain you can simply take a bath several times a day in a few inches of warm water. You can also use creams and gels like the over-the-counter treatment Preparation H. A natural alternative would be using the natural astringent Witch Hazel, which has been known to help with swelling.
Treating more severe cases of hemorrhoids may not be quite as easy. The same dietary changes should be considered. Also be sure to pay attention to the amount of water and clear fluids that you are getting. You may want to at least temporarily cut out processed foods from your diet. You can also turn to the aid of natural hemorrhoid cures. Some natural cures have been known to treat even severe cases without resorting to surgery. Some of them include the use of the herbs, Butcher’s Broom and Horse Chestnut.
