=( External hemorrhoids during pregnancy…?
I am currently 17 weeks pregnant and have an external hemorrhoid thanks to being so constipated all the time. I’ve only ever had 1 other in my entire life, back in high school, and I ended up going to the doctor for it. He gave me these waxy suppositories that were no fun to use at all, I would much rather be able to just get some PreperationH or something similar…so I really have several questions…
1. If you have had hemorrhoids during pregnancy, how early did you get them and did they get worse?
2. Is there anything that works better than PreperationH?
3. Where EXACTLY in the store can I find these medications? Because I went to Wal-Mart today and couldn’t find PreperationH and was WAY too embarrassed to ask. =(

YES THEY WILL GET WORSE. That baby isn’t doing anything but getting heavier and will be pushing down on all your organs for months to come. Treat what you have with some Prep H suppositories–the creams are really just for the burning and don’t heal anything.
Save a couple of suppositories for later in the pregnancy- if you get them at this early stage, you are much more prone to get them later!
Not sure, Walmart should definitely have it though. Where all the medication is. The pharmacy would also definitely. I’m pretty sure you can even buy it at the grocery store, lol. Nothing to be embarrassed about. It’s very common for pregnant people, no one is going to make fun of you. If you’re really that embarrassed, you could buy it online.
