i am 39 weeks and was so happy that i didn’t have a problem with hemorrhoids because i’ve heard they’re common during pregnancy…but this morning i realized i have one. it’s awful and it hurts. i’m wondering though, i’m due in anytime now and want to know, will it get worse during delivery? also, does it go away on it’s own after delivery or will i have to have some treatment?
Thank you ladies for taking the time to answer. It’s getting worse…yesterday it wasn’t so bad, I knew it was there but wasn’t bother me too much. Today, it hurts to sit!! I’m SOOO worried about delivery…ughhh I feel like it’s gonna get huge from pushing so hard. very worried about this. Thank you guys again.

So, I have had hemorrhoids for a few months now, off and on, mostly external. It started about 3 months ago, and they went away on their own. Then a few weeks after, they came back and did not subside. I purchased some prep-h cream, which helped considerably and they went away for awhile. When they came back, I used the prep-h cream, but it did little to help this time. I really only used it in the mornings and at night, other than the "up to 4 times daily" on the box, since during the day isn’t really practical for me. I purchased the ointment, I figured that it would work better because of the consistency, but they came back after its use like the cream. I tried to use the attachment and place the ointment further inside, but no luck. They are back now with some bleeding off and on. What should I do? I know that a doctors visit would be logical, but I don’t want any type of surgery done.

Does anyone reccommend a treatment that worked for them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! : )

So they hurt. I need advice about what oils/lotions, etc to use. Are there any alternative medicine treatments for this? Name me everything I can do to treat this. And if I should go to the dr. to get it out, what is the best method? Banding it or injection?

I need an advice for natural herbals or other medicine for my case, the Hemorrhoids is not bleeding, but it’s painful when I try to touch it or make a very simple pressure on it with my finger, I feel like it full of blood inside it and that it is Congestion when I touch it with weak pressure, I don’t want a surgery for my case, I’m living in Egypt and we don’t have the advance medical technology treatment like the U.S, so I need an advice for something I can use.

After having a pain in my rectal area i noticed a haemorrhoid but it had almost busted under the skin and had caused a dark bruise as welll as having the lump.

Will the darkness (blood) just eventually disappear like a bruise does and should the haemorrhoid itself disappear now that it has busted?

I went to the docs to make sure i had a hemorrhoid and sure enough he for sure said i had an external one. He did give me some ointment and some suppositories and I used them both. The ointment really shrunk the sucker a lot. Now every now and then I will have blood droplets in the toilet, and sometimes its streaks of blood. The blood color is bright red. Ever since ive been to the docs and got medicine for it the intervals of when I bleed increase, meaning I went a week without anything, then I went a few weeks, and now I was up to a month or so with nothing. I dont feel pain, i dont get nautious, I dont feel fatigued all the time, Im really perfectly fine. Even when I go to the bathroom it used to hurt because of the Hemorrhoid, but now I feel no pain. Really all I want to know is, if there is anything I can do to prolong the time between the bleeding or completely stop it. I am considering the rubber band removal process too, but not now.
The bleeding would be either be very little amount of streaks, or droplets AFTER the bowel was passed. So I may have an internal hemorrhoid. I am also 19 years old.

She said never to tell anyone, because she is scared of telling the docter.
she is only 12.
She asked me cause i one year older then her and i was her mature-est. (lol) friend.

She wants to know if theres any over the counter treatments at the pharmecy like lotations or something like that.
She said it was a external one, so it had no affect on her insides,
but she wants to know how it got there.
and how to get rid of it. without embarrssing herself.
