I have an internal hemorrhoid. It isn’t prolapsed nor does it prolapse when I make a bowel movement. The only symptom I have from it is that it is EXTREMLY iainful everytime I make a bowel movement.

Is it possible to have an internal hemorrhoid that is painful without it prolapsing? What can I do about the pain? Please help!!!!

I am 20 year old female, healthy weight/diet/exercise. These are the symptoms I have been experiencing;

*Bloating, and abdominal fullness all the time.
*Blood on toilet paper after b.m. (Dr. said no hemorrhoids, but VERY faint trace blood on rectal swab)
*Stabbing cramps
*Change in bowel movements, sometimes dark/small/hard other times very loose/light….. also very painful.
*creaking sounds coming from abdomen, persistent gas comes and goes.
*feeling like I have to have a b.m. but can’t (laxatives/enema does not help)
*very tired all the time
*lower back pain (pinching when I bend over)
*pain radiates from left to right and around naval.

****every since a trip to Jamaica in 06′ I have been having weird health problems. Started with aggressive and chronic UTIs/kidney infections. Now not so much, just these persistent abdominal issues for the past few months.

Well my BMI shows I am underweight, barely. I have always been small though and don’t gain weight easily. I am 5′9" and 130 lbs. My eyes may look a little yellowish, not much though.

Also, this is very random but just another weird thing. I was in Hawaii a couple years ago and went swimming in a mountain lake, woke up the next morning covered in small clear filled blisters (not from sun). They would pop and expand… sore to touch and at the same time I began to experience severe diarrhea and chills. Never found out what it was.

So, I’ve been having pregnancy symptoms, but I am most likely not pregnant and have not missed any periods. I have been having a swollen belly, back aches, headaches, nausea, breast enlargement, sensitivity, hemorrhoids, a weird taste in my mouth, etc. I’ve had pregnancy panic before, but just within the last two weeks I’ve gone from a cup size C to a cup size D, so I know I can’t be making this stuff up. My boyfriend and I use contraceptives religiously and we were not very active the month before these symptoms occurred. I did a pregnancy test-negative. All of these symptoms started showing up about three weeks ago and I’ve had one period about two weeks ago. What’s wrong with me? Has this happened to anyone else? I would really like some help!

i have noticed change in my stool shape..its soft but i still have to strain to pass it..i thought it might be a obstruction but i dont have any obstruction symptoms like pain, vomitting etc..whenever i poop, i always feel that there is some poop stuck up but i doesnot move..i have symptoms of hemorrhoid..burning, itching..but these symptoms occur sometimes..please help

These symptoms developed after I went to bathroom. There was blood on stool and pain. I cleaned area. I still got symptoms right away. It’s happened before and I become unproductive. Any natural suggestions to clean blood? I have no insurance/not working now. Thanks,
6/23/09 update: Thank you very much for your answers. I am doing well today. here is what I did:

- I read more about my situation (not a lot of answers out there)
- Because my fever did not go over 103 F, I did not go to ER
- Had 8 oz glass of water with 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, 1/2 lime juice & honey.
- Cleaned affected area through a sitz bath
- Purchased Tuck’s medicated pads and applied one every 4 hours (I left each pad in place for 30 minutes)
- Had 2 Motrin, drunk lots of room temperature water/urinated a lot
- Placed wet towel on forehead and rested as much as possible
- Drunk Metamucil in water with food. Ate vegetables/chicken (little or no salt) & fruits
- If going to toilet, used Hydrocortisone in affected area before sitting. Used small stool to raise legs. Only go to toilet when you are ready.

I am doing a lot better just 24 hours after the fact.

I don’t know what it is but I have been having an itch in my anal area. I’m not really sure how long it has been there, but I would say at least a few weeks. Sometimes when I make a bowel movement, there is a tiny tiny tiny tiny bit of blood on my tissue. It’s a really small amount, though. I get an itch mostly at night. It’s not really intense itching (which is a common symptom for pinworms)…it’s only kind of itchy and a tickling, too. What do you think, is this a hemorrhoid or pinworms!?

I noticed swelling around my anus and looked it up online and realized I may have a mild, early case of a hemorrhoid. I have never bled out of my anus, even though that seems to be one of the symptoms, and it never hurts. I was wondering if I could prevent further swelling/ make it go away without having surgery.

Today when I looked into the toilet after doing a "number 2" i saw that the water was turning crimson red, and that I seemed to be openly bleeding, but it stopped when I wiped. I am not sore whenever I sit down, and it went unnoticed except for today and a couple of other random days.. this is not a frequent occurrence but it does happen occasionally. Are these the symptoms of something serious and do I need to have this checked out?

Ok there are alot of references on here to hemerrhoids and how common they are during pregnancy. Help me out. What exactly is a hemorroid, what are the symptoms, at what point during pregnancy did you experienced them and what is the treatment? Thanks.
