I was in the shower and I put my finger in my rectum( I do this periodically as a precaution), and when I looked at my finger it had some blood on it(about one to three drops, give or take) and I thought nothing of it. I waited a couple more minutes and washed my hair and did it again, and there was about the same amount there. Could this blood be normal or something out of the ordinary? I do this as a precaution once a day every week but I haven’t noticed anything beforehand. And I don’t have any symptoms of anal fissures or hemorrhoids.

These hemorrhoids are hurting so bad that I want to do a Canadian chokehold on someone.

On the tube, Preparation H says it helps with itching, redness, and swelling, all of which are symptoms of hemorrhoids and bug bites.

Will it work?

Also, how do you know if this is a symptom of something more serious or just the fact that you had alot of rubbish in your diet previously? This has been going on for a couple of months with someone close to me. p.s. they have a hemorrhoid so there is alot of pain with bm but no blood or cramping etc

For the past 2 weeks, I have been feeling nauseaed all day. It’s just like a lump feeling at the back of my throat. I’ve thrown up a few times. I’ve also been urinating a whole lot those 2 weeks. For the past week I’ve been having a lot of bowel movements (sorry TMI). I used to go maybe once every other day. Now I’ve been going at least twice a day and I don’t strain. Yesterday I noticed I have developed a hemmoroid. My nipples are sore to the touch. I’ve also been having a weird cramping feeling above and inward from my right hip bone. I’ve also been a whole lot wetter "down there" and my boyfriend claims that it feels a lot tighter. My period is due next Tuesday or Wednesday. We have been having unprotected sex, but he pulls out (I know this isn’t a great method!). I am on birth control and my last period was about 5 weeks ago. I haven’t been too great at remembering my pills the past 2 months.

Do you think that these could be symptoms? My main concerns are the nausea and incresed BMs. Any tips on what to do about the hemmoroid would also be great!

I have no idea how to spell it. It has similar symptoms of hemorrhoids.

I’m 19 yrs old, and I’ve been having every symptom to colon cancer except for the migraines. I currently have hemorrhoids but before I had that, I was constipated and the pressure in my lower back was intense (still is). I always thought that you only got constipated from not drinking enough water, and all I drink is water so I don’t see why I’d be constipated. I also have a lot of pelvic pains and I’ll sometimes have bloody discharge from my vagina. I went to the hospital once and they let me go saying I didn’t have anything at all, but I insist that I do.

I was at the doctor recently for pains in my upper left abdomen (thought it was my spleen as I had glandular fever in the summer and my spleen and liver were inflamed) so had those tested and they are both fine. Although along with the upper abdominal pain I have had really bad bowls – cramps, diarrhoea, constipation and painful gas. Also passing mucus in my stools (and blood but that was due to hemorrhoids. Yuck I know =(

I thought of IBS as a friend has it but when talking to the doctor she asked if Celiac ran in my family and it does (I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me.)

Was tested for that and convinced myself it must be yet the results from my blood are normal.

I am glad yet very eager to get to the bottom of my pains they are getting me down. I have been told it might be stress (by my parents) and honestly that feels a little unlikely it’s not in my head if you know…

I’m keeping a diary of everything I eat and any pain with the times and taking peppermint oil capsules to sooth pain but to no avail.

I plan on going back to the doctor as I want get to the bottom of it – they say no further action is needed but I don’t agree.

Anyone have any ideas on what it could be and how I can relieve symptoms before I have my next appointment?

I am 17 weeks along with mine and my husbands first little one i was just wondering what are symptoms of hemorrhoids or if it sounds like i have one because the past week i have had a burning itching feeling well the itching feeling went away and only lasted a couple of days but now i just have a burning feeling that can get painful sometimes. Also how long do they usually last? Thanks in advance for the answers i recieve but i would like to know if this is normal or something to worry about.

I’m just asking for a friend, I swear. The symptoms are very painful and I can barely stand the embarrassment.
