For quite a while now, I have had a very mild ’stitch like’ pain on the right side of my abdomen, around the top of my pelvis.

It doesnt cause me any problems and it isnt getting worse but im so paranoid about it now. I occasionally get the same sort of pain on the right side of my abdomen and on my lower abdomen. It kind of feels like a mild muscle cramp when I stretch it, but it is worse on my right side.

I dont regularly get diarrhea, and my stools vary but are usually quite normal, although sometimes I get a stinging pain around my anus that matches hemorrhoid and anal fissure symptoms.

I have a tendency to slouch alot to one side, squashing my abdomen in between my ribs and pelvis. Could that be a contributing factor?

I dont have any other unusual symptoms

I’ve been diagnosed with having an anal fissure and have been given cream to treat it. However; I have now discovered that anal cancer shares the same symptoms of haemorrhoid’s and anal fistulas etc and I’m worrying that I’ve been misdiagnosed. I’ve seen three doctors and they’ve all told me that I have a fissure that’s been caused through passing large stools and being constipated. Anal fissures tend to run the family and my dad had an operation to cure his.

I don’t have anal sex and I don’t smoke. I don’t have any lumps in that area either so I’m kind of thinking that it’s nothing more than a fissure but I am getting freaked out.

Does anyone else out there with haemorrhoid’s and fissures worry about getting anal cancer or is it just me going mad?

ok, i am 17 years old and a male. since november 2008 i have had symptoms like hemorrhoids, i have slight pain when having bowel movement and every once in a while i have bright red blood on the toilet paper, and its hard to have a bowel movement sometimes not like completely constipated but just hard.. what could this be??? i have heard of the same type of symptoms in colon cancer but im 17 years old.. help! i have tried Preparation H wipes and have the cream but half the time i forget to use it so i cant really say that i have completely tried it good.. can hemorrhoids last 7 months or longer ??? and also i haven’t changed my diet any which sometimes helps with hemorrhoids… can anyone help me??
also i have mucus on the toilet paper.. that smells weird ..

I am 17 weeks along with mine and my husbands first little one i was just wondering what are symptoms of hemorrhoids or if it sounds like i have one because the past week i have had a burning itching feeling well the itching feeling went away and only lasted a couple of days but now i just have a burning feeling that can get painful sometimes. Also how long do they usually last? Thanks in advance for the answers i recieve but i would like to know if this is normal or something to worry about.

I have had the IUD for 8 months now. Everything’s been pretty common,(bleeding, spotting, boob tenderness,etc) in the beginning and it stopped finally like month or so after. I bled from like may – august straight, than stopped, and just recently bled again maybe for a couple(2) weeks, and now its stopped. I have had diarrhea, cramps, hemorrhoids, constipated diarrhea (if that makes sense to anyone :p), breast swollen/tenderness, nasuea, feeling tired, sore back, sore thighs.. Ive had a baby before my IUD, but that was 9 months ago, every pregnancy’s different..also, my strings are weird, some days me or my bf can feel them and other days not at all, and recently i feel them straight on my left side of my cervix..
has anyone experienced this? or can help? i can’t tell if my IUD is messed up, or if im pregnant or what..

i have no health insurance and i need to check for Physical exam for hemorrhoids.i checked and i seem to have most of the symptoms that i read about.i live in san antonio,texas and was wondering where i should go to get a check up when i don’t have any health insurance .please help

The past two days I found blood in my stool. It was not very much at all. Most of it was on the toilet paper and was a bright red, very very little was actually on the bowel. Today, though, there was no blood at all. My question is, what could it have been and is it something I still should get checked out? I really did not have any other symptoms besides little itching so my thought was hemorrhoids. Now that there was no blood found today is this still a cause for concern or is it just something I should keep an eye on for a few days?

I am really confused as to what I have, I have symptoms to both. I cannot go to a docotor.
I have not traveled nor have I tried Preperhation H

there is no pain but im having trouble going to the restroom but,I do manage to go (which is very little) instead of regular Bowel Movement, it comes out in clumps or little balls a, I feel as if something is physically blocking the stools.

I am pretty sure that this is not a serious problem, but I’d like some reinforcement from people who have had hemorrhoids, because the symptoms have changed a bit.

Lately over the past six months or so, I’ve had occasional intense itching on the anus and streaks of blood on toilet paper. I’ve had that diagnosed as hemorrhoidal activity and it’s not a problem. Normally my stools tend to be on the loose side, and diarrhea really causes the hemorrhoid to flare up. Still normal.

Now, for the past few days I have been slightly constipated, straining to push the stool out. And today there was a lot more blood on the toilet paper after my first wipe, then none on subsequent wipes. And then I noticed a wide streak of bright red blood on the stools themselves. I decided that this is now probably a hemorrhoid that is farther inside.

Several hours later I had another BM that was slightly hard to get out, and it was the same thing. More blood than I’m used to seeing on the TP, but only on the first wipe, and bright red blood on the stool in the toilet bowl.

Also, it doesn’t itch very much if at all. Maybe slightly, or maybe I’m imagining it.

So, this is a change in the symptoms as of today. Is this still a normal manifestation of hemorrhoids?
