I am a 16 year old male, and just recently (2 or 3 days) noticed I was itching around my anus area. I then noticed that a small lump or bulge had appeared near my anus, actually very, very near to my anus. I figured it was inflammation and so took some Motrin to help. I’m not sure if it helped or not but the next day the lump seemed to be smaller. I then asked my mum to take a look at it and she told me that she thought it was a Hemorrhoid. I’m not sure what may be causing it, I exercise, and am not having any constipation, but my job does require me to stand up almost 7.5 hours at a time. I was wondering if that could be the reason. Anyway I wanted to know if there was a way to cure the hemorrhoids. So far I am taking a laxative, when I do defecate I use a medicated wipe instead of toilet paper, am taking a Preparation H cream,and I am drinking extra water to help the symptoms, but is there any possible way to cure it.

I had breast cancer last year, finished chemo in Oct. For the past 3 weeks there has been blood in my stools. Sometimes there is a lot, sometimes none. Besides the blood I don’t have symptoms of hemorrhoids.

The only pain I have is a back ache which I’ve had since January. A recent had a bone scan has excluded bone mets.

I’m certain I don’t have bowel cancer, I’m too young for starters. I am going to see my GP but not for another 2 weeks. I just wanted to know if metastisis to the bowel is possible? I really don’t want anything else to be wrong with me.
I have been taking Tamoxifen since October 08

I think i have a thrombosed external hemorrhoid i dont have the symptoms of severe pain or bleeding but the lump is dark inside and does hurt abit if i touch it. I cant even explain how i would of got it.

I have a very important day tomorrow and i need to know weather it’s ok to leave this till friday? It wont like turn into one of those blood clots that can go to your lungs and kill you? Has anyone ever had one and can tell me what it was like?

So, I did some research before hand about Colon Cancer. Basically, what I read is that stress is linked with Cancer along with Anemia (I may be incorrect).

I’m an over achiever fool who doesn’t know when to stop. I take on more than I can handle. At times I won’t sleep or eat and stress like no other. I fell ill a couple days ago and haven’t really been the same since. I thought that I got sick because of the lack of sleep, but I’ve actually been putting in effort to sleep more for the past couple of weeks, so that theory doesn’t really make sense to me anymore.

I’ve been very very tired and lazy, which is not me. I’m hosting an event next week and there is so much to do and yet I don’t want to do it. I’ve also had some trouble concentrating and sleeping. I’ve got a constant headache and sometimes the room spins a little. My heart rapidly at times even when I’m sitting and doing absolutely anything. I read online that these are some signs of Anemia.

About 4 days ago I discovered blood in my stool. It continued for 2 more days after that day and stopped yesterday, but happened again today. I sometimes feel that I need to go to the washroom when I don’t really need to. I read these are some signs of Colon Cancer. I know that finding blood in my stool doesn’t necessarily mean that I have Colon Cancer and it could be a Hemorrhoid.

So, now I have symptoms of Anemia which is symptom of Colon Cancer. What are the chances that I have Colon Cancer? Or am I over-reacting?

i have some questions about my symptoms i have been having with my pregnancy.

i am 7 months pregnant.

yesterday i was able to go number two without straining at least 4 times. then two times last night when i went to the bathroom i had blood come out of my rectum like a period but then when i wiped the blood only went on the tissue once then dried up. this happened two times last night. it was weird because i didn’t keep bleeding out my rectum. it just came out of my rectum when i went to to pee. wasn’t trying to go number two either. i made sure to which area it was coming out of and it made me nervous but it was my rectum. this is the only time this has happened during my pregnancy. is this symptoms of hemorrhoids. is this normal?

some days i feel my baby just kicking and hiccuping up a storm. some days i don’t feel my baby kicking but feel him like he is curling up in a ball and making a knot in different areas of my stomach. then some days i barely feel him moving at all. is this all normal?

My husband was diagnosed with Shingles a few weeks ago. The rash is extremely painful and seems to appear in one place, go away then show up somewhere else. Tonight he went to the hospital because the pain was so bad he could not walk, sit or lay down. Despite telling the Dr. that he was diagnosed with Shingles only a few weeks ago and had already been seen twice because of the pain, the Dr. (not the same one who diagnosed him) told him he is too young to have Shingles Disease and told him he has hemorrhoids, despite having no symptoms of hemorrhoids (except excruciating pain). There are no lumps, bumps or anything remotely like hemorrhoids. There is just a rash that looks just like Shingles. He says it feels just like it, too but the Dr. would not listen to him. He (the Dr.) also asked quite a few questions that my husband felt were insulting, such as "Do you ever share needles?" and "Do you or your wife ever engage in prostitution?" When my husband asked why he was asking these things, the Dr. said that my husband was too young to have Shingles and that he needed an AIDS test. We don’t do drugs; neither of us even drink. Obviously, neither of us are prostitutes. My husband is extremely offended by the whole experience, and I have to say, I am, too. I am more disturbed by the fact that this Dr. would not listen to him. My husband takes Trileptal for Borderline Personality Disorder and felt that once the Dr. found that out, he stopped listening to him.

Can Shungles appear around the anus and do you feel we should get a 2nd opinion or will it be just a waste of time?
I understand and that is what I told my husband. At the same time, if a patient was diagnosed with Shingles Disease at that hospital not two weeks ago and already been back twice because of the pain…

Ok, so two weeks back I got a *AHEM* hemorrhoid with all the usual symptoms i.e very sore and annoying and a large-ish soft lump on the outside, and it even bled once. The pain has died away but now I am left with a hard, smaller bump where the softer painful one was and it doesn’t bother me, and I am wondering how long does it take to go away completely? Will the body absorb away the blood that is inside the thing on its’ own?

I think I have a hemorrhoid. I’ve looked up all the signs & symptoms. Most apply to me. I don’t want to go to the doctor just yet, because I feel embarrassed. What are some methods to helping get rid of it?

Ok this is really embarrassing but….for the past few weeks I have had hemorrhoids. It scared me at first because while I was going to the bathroom, I felt something protruding out and I thought it was like a tumor or something..but then looked my symptoms up and realized it was hemorrhoids. I have never had hemorrhoids before in my life that I know of. It’s an internal hemorrhoid and sometimes when I’m going to the bathroom I feel it…most of the time I can push it back in but sometimes it takes awhile. I’ve been incredibly sick to my stomach lately and I have no appetite. Also, my stomach growls ALL the time…even when I’m not hungry!!! Please help..what can I do? I just want this to go away . Also, what kinds of creams would be best?

Or does it just help relieve symptoms?
