There are all kinds of flinstone vitamins, I don’t know which one is the right one to take? And I’m supposed to take two right?

This is kind of long, but please read it, you might be able to help me. Plus you will probably find it an interesting story if you are preg. =)

Okay, this is my second pregnancy, and I was constipated for all of the first pregnancy, and then after because I was taking the prenatals for nursing. I never knew untill this pregnancy that my prenatals were causing my problem. I stopped taking them when my daughter was 3 months old, and the constipation went away. Well, we got prgnant again when my daughter was 4 months. So, I am taking prenatals again. I am so constipated. Today is five days without a movement. I was like this throughout all of my last pregnancy and I don’t want to feel like crap 5 out of 7 days of the week when I am caring for a baby all day. And then there’s the hemorrhoids. I got them like 5 months into my first pregnany. My doctor told me there was nothing I could do about it. Infact, she and all my other doctors, told me that I could do absolutly nothing about constipaition during pregnancy, one even said that it should get worse. That’s why I never knew that it was just the prenatals. >=( So, I never recovered from the hemorrhoids, even when I was not constipaited for a few weeks. I have been constipaited for well over a year and suffering from hemorrhoids for almost 11 months. I am in pain all them time. When I have a movement the bowl fills with blood (well, not "fiils" lol) but there is quite a lot of it. Sorry to be graffic, but my movements are literally 3 inches in diameter. =( And my hemorrhoids are the size or marbles after I finally go!! I have been taking Phillips Milk Of Magnesia sinse last night with NO improvement. I know you are not supposed to take a laxative while pregnant, but a lot of people say that this is on their docs safe list. My doctor didn’t even give me a safe list. Thay said NOTHING is safe during pregnancy. Idiots.

What should I do! I really need help. I did some research and found that I will need surgery to remove the hemorrhoids if they continue to get worse. My aunt just had to have a surgery for chronic constipation. I don’t wan’t that while i am pregnant. I have tried changing prenatals, and eating all kinds of vegatables. I even ate only vegatable for two weeks last pregnancy and drank a gal of water a day…nothing changed. I was drinking almost a gal of water a day every day last time.

With my first pregnancy, they told me I could not switch doctors because I had medical. I didn’t really look into it because all I cared about it having a healthy baby. Even though I didn’t like the doctors, it wansn’t that big of a deal. With this pregnancy I looked into my rights and I can infact switch dotors, and I have. I have not met my new doctor yet. I have an apt comming up very soon.

Hemorrhoid pain help?
Ok I have had 2 children. With my first child i got hemorrhoids while i was pregnant but it was mild. after my first labor though it was very bad BUT after a few months it went away. Now I have had a second child but with this child I had bad hemorrhoids while i was pregnant and they even started before i was out of my first trimister!! Now it has been 11 months since i have had my 2nd child. And this time the hemorrhoids have not gone away!! I tried creams ect before but nothing helped. is it normal to have them this long after having a baby?? Ive been on here reading about hemorrhoids and they only systom i dont have is the itching. i do have bloody stoles and just a very sore pain in general and external lumps. Does this mean i also have them internaly? Should i go see a doctor because mine now need surgery? its been 11 months and they have not gone away not even for one day in this time! i feel them everyday! anyone know what i can do if i need surgery?
or have you been thru this and what did you do? Also my children are 6 years apart. so i would though after 6 years would have been enough time?? does anyone know how the surgery works? how painfull is it? how long does it take to recover? i work sitting all day for 10 hour days. my company offers medical leave..has anyone ever had surgery for this and goten medical leave for it? and does anyone know if its covered under insurance in general?

What is there that i can use over the counter to shrink hemorrhoids? I got one from delivering my son. I would have said something to my doctor but i didn’t notice it till i got home. Thanks!

Merry Christmas to you, and please don’t worry. I’m just fine considering I can’t breathe or eat. The important thing is that you have a nice holiday, thousands of miles away from your ailing mother.

I’ve sent along my last ten dollars in this card, which I hope you’ll spend on my grandchildren. God knows their mother never buys them anything nice. They look so thin in their pictures, poor babies.

Thank you so much for the birthday flowers, dear boy. I put them in the freezer so they’ll stay fresh for my grave. Which reminds me — we buried Grandma last week. I know she died years ago, but I got to yearning for a good funeral so Aunt Berta and I dug her up and had the services all over again.

I would have invited you, but I know that woman you live with would have never let you come. I bet she’s never even watched that videotape of my hemorrhoid surgery, has she?

Well son, it’s time for me to crawl off to bed now. I lost my cane beating off muggers last week, but don’t you worry about me.

I’m also getting used to the cold since they turned my heat off and am grateful because the frost on my bed numbs the constant pain.

The situation isn’t real, but I’m still hurt that she would even think of sending something like that to me. And here I am thinking the whole time that she liked me.
I never did anything to her, to even allow her to even think of sending something like this to me. It was sent only to me. How am I supposed to know if she put together some sick story to make me feel bad that I married her youngest son. Oh god I know I will confront her tonight, but I really need some support.

I have been suffering with soreness around my anus for three months now and it is becoming extremely annoying and is preventing me doing any form of exercise which has meant I have put weight on! I have been to the doctors three times, it is NOT haemorrhoids. The doctors just say its irritation and prescribed me various anti fungal tablets and creams and anti biotic creams and steroid creams. The steroids help but arent getting rid of the problem. I have had a new job for the past few months which involves sitting down all day and driving to work which I never used to do, I used to do a lot more walking. The other thing was i went on a two week course of very strong antibiotics a few weeks before the symptoms started and people have told me that could be the link? Please do not give me the usual anal sex jokes as they are old and pointless!

It seems as if when I need to use the toilet for a bowel movement I always end up with blood on the toilet paper from wiping. There is pain involved and I’m sometimes afraid it could be a hemorrhoid. However, I imagine it could just be chafing from irritated skin. Should I see a doctor or do I need to switch to softer toilet paper? Would baby wipes work?
How am I supposed to sit less when I’m an American? Unfortunately in America toilets designed for squatting are not sold.

About three weeks ago, I discovered a lump about a centimeter in diameter a short distance into my anus. I went to the ER and the physician who examined me said he thought it was an internal hemorrhoid, while the other doctor he spoke to said he thought it was more likely a polyp. They referred me to another doctor so I could get a colonoscopy and get whatever it is removed, but my appointment isn’t until January 15.

I believe that the initial lump I found is indeed a polyp, but I’m pretty sure I’ve also developed an internal hemorrhoid along the way – bowel movements are a nightmare and there is always a small but highly uncomfortable stinging pain just on the opening of my anus, and sometimes it feels like bugs are crawling around in there (although I’ve not spotted any parasites). Nothing, not Tucks pads nor Preparation H helps in any way. What’s causing this stinging pain and is there a way to make it stop so I can at least feel somewhat comfortable for the next month?

Everyone gets constipated from time to time, but this has been going on for about two weeks. I also don’t think that my constipation has ever felt like this before.

To describe it, it feels like my anus doesn’t want to open fully anymore to let my bowel movements pass. It’s a very frustrating feeling and I don’t want to strain because I do want to cause hemorrhoids. Is this normal?

I’ve considered asking or going to a doctor, but It’s simply embarassing to go have your anal region inspected. I’d really prefer not to.

It hurts every time I go to the bathroom, and I bleed. I don’t want to go to the doctor.. so how should I go about treating this?

I have a tendency to hold back on taking a dump, and I usually wait until the very last second to do so. I have heard that you can form hemorrhoids by pushing against your stomach to get feces out, but is it possible to form one by holding back and neglecting the need?

I now have a constant pain on my ass whenever I’m bending over and sitting down or basically anything that involves my ass being stretched. Whenever I go unload, the result turns out to be a monster inside the toilet and there was an incident were I actually clogged it. The pain isn’t going away, is there anything I can do to solve this without medical help or… surgery?
