I have a hemorrhoid and had it ever since I had my 1st baby which was 4 years ago. It doesn’t bother me at all but it’s ugly and I want it to go away. Is there anything that gets rid of it besides surgery?

Does having a hemorrhoid can fail one from medical exam ?
i am applying for a fiancee visa and within this week my case will be forwarded to us embassy manila,i have a hemorrhoid,but its so small,every time i poo it come out of my butt,i already see a doctor and she gave me some medications,i don’t experience any pain when i poo and my stole don’t have blood,i ask my doctor if my hemorrhoid will fail me from my medical exam but she said she don’t have any idea,my doctor said my case is not that worst, does having a hemorrhoid can fail an applicant from her medical exam?

How will the doctor determine if I need a colonoscopy? I’ve had blood in my stool about 2-3 times and get a hemorrhoid every now and then. I’ve been dealing with this issue for about a year or two.

Also do I go to a specialist to get it checked? Thanks

it doesn’t really hurt, just uncomfortable. it’s whitish. it’s very thick and hard. it can’t be pulled inwards.
i don’t think it’s pilonidal cyst. neither am i sure that it is external(stage 4) hemorrhoid.
how can i treat it at home? i don’t want to go see a doctor just yet.

hemorrhoids? It’s terrible. It’s an itch I cannot scratch in public. Also, sometimes when I go I have a little bit of blood – that’s only been twice though. And, I know it is not vaginal spotting.

I bought hemorrhoid wipes. I see the doctor on the 20th. Is there anything you did to relieve discomfort?

I know i should go the doctors and i will, but is there anything i could/should be doing? Should i be worried?

So this is a little embarrassing but I gave birth 2 and a half months ago and ever since birth I have been in so much pain after going to the bathroom and usually there is blood. Any suggestions? The doctor says its not hemorrhoids and pretty much told me it should go away on its own but I am in so much pain every few days it feels like labor again. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

Okay so I finally went to a doctor and they told me I have a hemorrhoid. They gave me a list of surgeons but no other suggestions. I thought they may tell me that I need more fiber intake, or to use a hemorrhoid cream, so I really don’t know what I should do next. I have really bad constipation and no matter how healthy I eat and I have very painful bowel movements so I went and bought Metamucil (fiber) and a hemorrhoid cream but I do not have money for a surgery. Any suggestions on what may help me? Also, is it okay to take stool softener because I went and got some and it said I could only take it for up to 7 days and I wanted one that I could use often, maybe I got the wrong kind that is only for temporary use?? If you know anything about it, it will also help. Thanks!
I did go to a clinic and it was a very small fee but for surgery they said that they could help me out.

Yesterday I went to the bathroom to use the number 2 and as I finish and get up to wipe, I noticed that there was a few drops of bright red blood in the toilet like when you drop a few drops of food coloring into water. This pretty much put me into shock because I had no idea what is going on. There is no pain, I don’t feel sick, I am male and still 22 years old so I doubt it is colon cancer.

Well, today I had to use number 2 again and there wasn’t any blood but my poop felt sharp and there was some blood on the toilet paper. I was wondering do anyone have a guess to what is happening? and how long it will last? I am planning on going to the doctors tomorrow but until then, I just want to get an idea of what is happening.

Ok, so I’ve done a lot of research to figure out what’s wrong and what is exactly going on in that region. I have figured out that I definitely have stage 3 internal prolapsed hemorrhoids.

I’ve had this for several years now, but I’ve only recently actually bothered to do something about it. (Actually, I lie, I went to a doctor once for this a while back, but she was so dismissive about it, and only prescribed a suppository that did NOTHING to alleviate the problem)

Also, recently (partially why I started looking up the information) I think I’ve developed a thrombosed hemorrhoid (stage 4). It was extremely painful at first, but after a few days the pain slowly went away to a dull ache when I touch it. It protrudes out, and unlike stage 3, I can’t push it back in.

Is there anyway, besides going to the doctor, that I can get rid of it? Are there any home remedies? (I’ve done research on it but most remedies seem to only focus mostly on external hemorrhoids)
I really want to get rid of this problem. It’s very painful and a topic that I can’t really explain to most people. Plz help
