K, this is really embarressing. I use laxatives everyday (the doctor said it was fine) so I can go to the bathroom and some times I still don`t go for a few days. When ever I do it`s like diarrhea but not a lot of it. My butt has been hurting REALLY bad the last few days, it`s unbearable. I also haven`t went in the past few days. Well, now I`m pretty sure I have a hemorrhoid but not for sure. So what causes it? How can you tell? What are the symptoms? Also if you know what I can do about that would be great. Thanks!

ok so a few weeks ago i got some signs of a hemorrhoid it didn’t hurt at 1st but more time went by, the more pain that came with it… it got so bad that i couldn’t sleep when i would fart it would hurt an when i bowel it would hurt i took some medicine an slowly the pain went away i could fart an it would not hurt but i still could not bowel(poop) right i need help bc its been a month an still no sign of goodness of it…

also i look at my poop an at the end of it(when it comes out) usally there is some white looking like tissue on it what is that???… i have not yet to get seen by a doctor…i read that hemorrohoid could cause cancer.. cancer runs in my fam my great grandma died of colon cancer.. do you think that white tissue is cancer please help thanks

i think i have a hemorrhoid! its a lump of flesh coming out of my butt(sorry thats really gross) but it hurts like its sore! how do i get rid of this! i dont want to tell my mom cause she will take me to the doctor and i dont wanna go…so can it go away on its own?
also i heard whcihazle helps and we have that so do i just put that on there?

I just started taking numerous medications/vitamins less than a month ago, and I noticed that today I think I have my first hemorrhoid?

Biotin 5000 mcg daily

Fish oil /vitamin D 1000 mg daily

Adderall 10 mg daily

Strattera 60mg daily

L-Lysine (just started 3 days ago) 1000 mg daily

…Can any of these be a link to hemorrhoids? I’m really worried because there is blood in my stool and my anus is swollen. I have never had anal sex, or put anything in my anus.
If none of those meds could be the cause, what could? And how do I tread this situation?

I’m 98% sure I have a hemorrhoid and I’ve had it about 3 months and nothing seems to work. I’m using suppositories and preparation h. I’ve also gone to a doctor which didn’t help either. I need someone that has found a way/medicine that works and please tell me! I’ll do anything to get rid of this so I’ll try alternative ways as well as pills and other medicines.
It hurts to go to the bathroom and occasionally there is blood. I’m miserable please help

I’m 15 by the way and I think what caused it was too much weight lifting and I am willing to stop weight lifting for a while to let it heal.

I had a really forceful bowl movement and I ended up getting a hemorrhoid…it’s been 3 days now. I can barely walk, it’s really irritated. but I’ve been using prep. H and sitting in a bath of warm water. it’s starting to shed skin…is that normal? it’s not big, it’s like a smushed grape but harder. my mum said I don’t need to go to the doctor or have surgery cause she’s had one and she pushed it back in, without surgery…but I’m not going to push it back in…anyway…how long until it goes away? I need all the help I can get on healing this hemorrhoid. give me anything!

My hemorrhoids started January 1, 2010. What a way to bring in the New Year! For the next five months they would flare up for a week, then disappear. I noticed they would return during my periods. I kept a food diary and the only change to my diet was ibuprofen. I stopped taking Alieve and Advil; I switched to telenol. No hemorrhoids this time… When you read the side affects of ibuprofen, it makes since. My heartburn disappeared too.

Yeah yeah yeah, it’s gross, I know. I have a hemorrhoid (and I know it’s a hemorrhoid, since it [again, gross] feels like a grape and changes positions) and it’s been causing me a lot of discomfort for the past few weeks. I think it started out external and once I started using hemorrhoidal cream it receded inward, but it’s still problematic. What’s the best way to go about getting rid of this? My insurance only covers appointments made at my student health center, and let’s just say they aren’t the best…

I started getting big painful hemorrhoid, they are horrible, it hurts so bad! I have even cried for a while, it’s a pain that just don’t go away and I am so uncomfortable. I used ice packs, warm water baths, Preperation H. I don’t know what else to do. I’m not constipated and I’m eating lots of fiber just in case. Is there anything else I can do. I really wish I can control this before delivery cause I’m gonna be in double pain.

a month ago or two i started to digest my food less. like 3 times a week, and i used to do more than that. so i told my mum and she gave me this herbal tablet to help you. I think it did a little, then i noticed a small pea sized lump of skin it looked like. I thought it was nothing so i left it, and a couple of weeks later it was still there. no change of size, or color. So i researched it and it said it could be a hemorrhoid, and i don’t know what the heck that is. -.- It might be a internal hemorrhoid, or a polsa– something. can’t spell it, but i have no pain, or irritation at all. I rather not see the doctor cause nothing seems wrong. But i’m starting to change my diet, to a healthy one and everyday sit in a warm bath for 15 – 20 minutes. I’ve had it for 1 or 2 months now, and so change tbh. i’m only 13 years of age too.
