This morning i woke up with a pain in my butt. Everytime i sat down, i would get sharp pains. It would hurt when i poop, only when i push, not when the poop actually came out of my anus. I looked at my anus and it seemed as if there was a little purple ball right next to my anus. im guessing this is the external hemorrhoid…how can i get rid of this? What types of medication can i buy over the counter(specific names please) Also, how long will this last? and one more thing….Can i play sports with the hemorrhoid? I play soccer and i cant afford to miss any practices or games but i dont wanna play if it will only make anything worse…

not sure if its okay to sit down cause it hurts. im already treating it, but is it normal for an external hemorrhoid to hurt when you sit? let alone okay to sit upright on the computer? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

i am severely constipated. i have to small external piles around the anus. nothing is hardly coming about but the very edges of my bowels and it comes out runny. ive been drinking miralax and it hasn’t helped. ive been on it since tuesday , today would be my 4th time drinking it. i am dying for relief of constipation and these external hemorrhoids. is this a good idea to drink to get rid of both?

Am I allowed to eat the following things when I want my bowels to move ?
oatmeal,
corn tortillas,
chicken,
mac and cheese,
potatoes,
cereal,
fish.
reason why i list these things is because i just got braces and cant chew on anything harder.. if there was something i cant eat in this list, is there something i can eat with it like an apple or something to make it digest better?

i had a external hemorrhoid and the pain and swelling went away but its still hanging out [the skin/vein] why is that? it doesnt hurt at all n i try pushing it in n it jus comes out…what can i do so it can go back in? does it mean dat the hemorrhoid isnt cured yet? thats was my first hemorrhoid so i dont know anything…

I know that (unfortunately) external hemorrhoids don’t go away. But is it always the same one??? Or is it something that will disappear, but come back again after a while???

Hi, I currently have an external hemorrhoid and I have it for about 5 days now. It is about the size of a pea and I noticed that it became smaller since i first had it 5 days ago. I have been using Anugesic-HC to treat my hemorrhoid problem. Also, I noticed that everytime I have my bowel movement there is a bright red blood everytime I wipe it. This is not new to me since I got internal hemorrhoid before it happened.

However, the thing that makes me worried is that I am always seeing red marks on my underwear. The external hemorrhoid does not hurt much like it was 5 days ago but the frequent marks on my underwear makes me worried.

My question is that if it is normal? I don’t know what’s causing it but I think it’s because of the medicine I apply on the hemorrhoid but I could not afford to ignore the problem because I see the marks everytime. I am not even sure if it’s the medicine that’s causing the marks or something is leaking.

Btw, I already went to the doctor and he gave me Anugesic and he also told me that I don’t have anal fistula. Please give me a good answer and for those who have experienced external hemorrhoid I want to know if you have experienced this too. Thank You.

I am almost 31 weeks pregnant and I have a hemorrhoid. It started a few days ago as a minor annoyance and now it hurts extremely bad. I can barely move or walk. It’s an external hemorrhoid and it’s bigger then a pea but smaller then a grape. It hurts so bad. I used Preperation H because it was on my approved list of medications but it didn’t help at all. Will it go away on it’s own and how long does it normally take? Is it normal for it to be this painful?
