I developed an external hemorrhoid that has thrombosed (according to my physician). A few days have past, I’ve been applying the Rx medicine and have been keeping the area clean as possible. There’s still a little bleeding (as evident in my underwear) and the pain is no where near as bad as it was days ago.
I want to go back to the gym in three days. I currently do not lift weights, mostly cardio and body-weight exercises (prisoner squats, push-ups, one-leg RDL’s, pull-ups, dips, etc). If I continue to care for my ailment, can I be able to work out again without further aggravating it?

hey guys, ive got minor external hemorrhoids and the only symptoms are it just puffed up a bit and it itches pretty bad. This is my second day having them. I was wondering if this will go away for good, if i just use ointment and change my diet, as in drink alot of water, and eat alot of fibers. will it go away if i only change my diet and not give too much pressure while using the toilet?

I have had internal hemorrhoids off and on since I gave birth 9 years ago. But this week I have a very uncomfortable "lump" you-know-where. There’s no bleeding, but it hurts to sit and even bothers me when I walk around. I’m assuming it’s just an external hemorrhoid. I haven’t seen it, just felt it (with a gloved finger of course!). What’s the quickest way to relieve the discomfort? I used a suppository this morning, which always seems to work for the internal ones, but it’s not helping much for this one.

Where to find a cure for Thrombosed External Hemorrhoids

I have had this external hemorrhoid for a week now, and I am in so much pain and agony. I’ve been skipping high school because I can’t walk normally with this hemorrhoid. I’m done with it and have decided I need to get it popped by a doctor or something. Which treatment from a doctor would get rid of it most effectively?
And, once it’s gone, will I be able to compete in sports again?
Please answer, I’m going crazy.
Thanks

By close I mean near the entrance (or should I say exit?) of my rectum. There is no bleeding and I haven’t participated in anal intercourse.
Oh and I can’t see a doctor unless I absolutely have to because I have no health insurance nor a job.

I think I have a small external hemorrhoid. I’ve never had anything like this and I’m freakin out cuz I can’t afford to go to the doctor. Do these things go away? It isn’t big or overly uncomfortable, I just don’t want to "sit on it" and have it end up getting worse! Anybody have some experienced advise??

I have hemorrhoids that I can feel on the outside. They did hurt and I have been using a hemorrhoid gel to relieve the pain. The pain is no longer there but I can still feel the swelling portion of the hemorrhoids when applying the cream. Will they go completely away??????

I am currently 17 weeks pregnant and have an external hemorrhoid thanks to being so constipated all the time. I’ve only ever had 1 other in my entire life, back in high school, and I ended up going to the doctor for it. He gave me these waxy suppositories that were no fun to use at all, I would much rather be able to just get some PreperationH or something similar…so I really have several questions…
1. If you have had hemorrhoids during pregnancy, how early did you get them and did they get worse?
2. Is there anything that works better than PreperationH?
3. Where EXACTLY in the store can I find these medications? Because I went to Wal-Mart today and couldn’t find PreperationH and was WAY too embarrassed to ask. =(

The pain is so excrutiating and terrifying. Its unlike anything I’ve ever imagined. I feel like I can go sometimes but when I try I feel like I am going to pass out from agony. What can I do to try to reduce this pain? My doctor is not giving me anything to help and the pain meds dont cut it.
P.S. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROCEDURE UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY TO ANYONE!!!

I did about 12 hours of flying on the last of 8 days of travel and suffered some irregularity during those 8 days. The day after returning was spent in the bathroom while my body got rid of everything. Now I have what appears to be an Thrombosed External Hemorrhoid.
It is about the size of a blueberry to view with the inside feeling about the size of a pea and very painful.
Is it possible for this to resolve on it’s own or will I need medical intervention.

I had a really bad cold last week, and I coughed really bad. After My cold was over I had a wired little pain around My rectum. I let it go for a day thinking maybe it was a pimple or something. I checked it the next day, and there is a little spot not much bigger than a pimple that is colored like a bruise slightly. I think it is external hemorrhoids. What do You do to get rid of this? Its not really that painful, or big. Its just kind of annoying. Any help would be great thanks.

I’ve got just one, caused by constipation for about a week, i noticed it today. and i am rather embarrassed by it. so i was wondering if it would go away on its own?
this could also be a clogged hair follicle. if that is the case, which im unsure if it is one of the two. could alcohol on a cotton ball, or some sort of swab that is meant for pimples, and things like that. could that help?

I have a swollen anus and it might be external because it is swollen around my anus. I have been having trouble using the restroom but its still been coming out. will this heal on its own? OH and the swelling goes down when i am not trying to push. When I push it starts to swell up. THNX!
