Can rubber band ligation be used for EXTERNAL hemorrhoids too?

This treatment is usually performed on internal hemorrhoids, but it can be successfully used on external hemorrhoids as well?

To answer your question, no. Rubber bands are used for internal hemorrhoids.
Some diets that you can do is to increase your water and fiber intakes. Taking warm water baths for about 15 mins a day will also help.

Not that I am aware of. Usually external hemorrhoids will respond well to creams, ointments and change in diet. Hope that helps.
