I sufferred from hemorrhoids since I was 15 so I know how painful and disabling they can be. If you have internal hemorrhoids, the best thing is to use suppositories and try to work with your diet and rest time. If you have external hemorrhoids I would suggest you don't put any creams with cortisone or anesthetics as they worsen the condition. There is a product called Anuleaf AD that works for external hemorrhoids and it is an adhesive device. Depending on your grade of hemorrhoids you will have to make a decision on what is best for you. Check out their web site as it will give you insights on how to deal with the problem even if you don't have inflamed external hemorrhoids but make sure you see your doctor and confirm that they are indeed hemorrhoids. Unless they are chronic, however, there isn't much that can be done about them. You can be perscribed suppositories but they don't help any more than over-the-counter creams will.
