Can hemorrhoids be a symptom of pregnancy?

Ok TMI alert but lately I have experienced bleeding in that area and never did with either of my first two pregnancies. There’s a good possibility that I am pregnant now, just waiting on the doc. Could hemorrhoids occur in early pregnancy or is it just later on?

Yeah, early on in pregnancy your hormones are freaking out so you could have lots of trouble going or diarrhea. Just depends on how your body reacts.
Remember that not every pregnancy is the same, not even for the same woman.
Good luck, sweetie!
They can occur early in pregnancy. When you get pregnant your body slows your digestive system down, which can give you constipation and that can give you hemorrhoids.
So to answer your question, yes it can be.. but isn’t necessarily a must have in order to be pregnant.
Hemorrhoids can happen at any point during pregnancy and can also happen at any point in time with anyone and have nothing to do with being pregnant.
I know that taking the prenatal vitamins can make going to the washroom more difficult which would cause you to strain more which can cause hemorrhoids. I don’t think it matters if you have been through 2 pregnancies and didn’t have them as each pregnancy can be quite different with symptoms anyways. Preparation H does work just a pain to use.
