Any treatment that actually WORKS for hemorrhoids?
I am 38 weeks pregnant with my second, and I have had a problem with hemorrhoids since I was pregnant with my first and as soon as I thought they were going away, they got worse. My diet is fine, I clean thoroughly after every bowel movement, not having any BM issues, I have tried many topical ointments and nothing seems to help. The doctors said they could do more after I have my baby so I’m looking more into surgery or something that my insurance will cover. But before I have to resort to that, does anybody know anything that actually WORKS? And I mean showing a big difference kind of work. Since yesterday they have swelled massively for no apparent reason. I understand that most of you will say that since being pregnant, the extra weight has taken effect but I can assure you that’s hardly an issue. Please help. Thanks.
I wouldn’t mind trying almost anything at this point, but can you assure me that it actually works? Because I’m pretty sure you’re just advertising.

Ligation therapy is supposed to be pretty safe and effective. I’m not sure if you could do it by yourself (obviously you’d need some help) or if you’d have to get a doctor to do it, but I expect it would be much safer and cheaper than actual surgery. Essentially, you just cut off the blood supply to the hemorrhoids and the tissue is killed.
Wanna try aromatherapy?
My husband has this problem from time to time, and sometimes we have to go the doctor for it if it gets bad, but we try everything we can before it gets to this, try soaking in a warm bath with epsom salts, this seems to help him a lot. Also the round treated pads help too. And try to relax and stay calm, stress causes a lot of his. Hope this helps some. You can get epsom salts at any grocery, drug store.
Hi Congratulations on your pregnancy. I found a web site that has natural holistic treatments that are really effective. If your interested you can go to http://www.cureforpiles.com they have a free guide there as well
Good luck
Cheap…easy…and very effective…ICE! Place the ice directly on the area for up to 20 minutes. If they are internal you can even insert small ice chips using olive oil as a lubricant. You cannot over do it and the relief is wonderful as well as it will shrink the inflamed tissues Good luck
