Any one had Hemorrhoid surgery? Please help?
I think hemorrhoid surgery would be best because I feel that home remedies will only shrink the thing and I want it gone. I feel that it is nasty to have it dangling off your anus. It is quite embarrassing and frankly I’m very shy to bring it up with my doctor. You know how you call to make an appointment and they say " so what seems to be the problem?" and I say " well …. I have hemorrhoid in my anus OMG how embarrasing but if surgery is what it take so be it I want it gone.

Okay first of all, no need to be embarrassed nor shy about this hemorrhoid… they are so common that the health care professionals don’t bat an eyelash when we see them. I know they are extremely uncomfortable, but you really should have it evaluated if it’s causing you so much discomfort. There are other options other than surgery.. there is one that is called the band, but I would seriously not recommend this procedure. What they do is put a very tight rubber band around the area and literally wait for it to fall off.. it’s torture for the patients. It falls off eventually but in the meantime… it’s just terrible. I wanted to forewarn you of that procedure as they make it sound like it’s nothing, but it is!!!!
The home remedies, if you can get by with shrinking it and making sure you have regular BM’s then I would really try to do that route. It can sometimes shrink so small you won’t even notice it until you get constipated again……… more fiber and water in your diet! Make an appointment to have it looked at … then go from there.. do not be shy…. really.. we have seen it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You seen one bum you have seen them all…………. they all look the same! Good luck to you.
Talk to your doctor about it. It might seem really embarrassing to you, but your doctor has heard much worse from other patients. And don’t jump immediately to surgery as a solution. It might seem to be the easiest way out to you, but it might not be the best choice. Chances are, your doctor won’t even consider it until other options and treatments have been exhausted.
Make the appointment. You’ll feel better that you did.
1000’s of people have this problem and you shouldn’t be embarrassed. When you call the Dr. and the person asks you the medical problem that you are having just state you are having a problem with Hemorrhoids. That is all you have to say. Some Doctors use a procedure using rubber bands, after several weeks the hemorrhoids just drop off. Ask your Dr. Get this taken care of once and for all. Good Luck.
