im a 16 year old female and have had a hemorrhoid for around 6 months now, according to health websites its at grade 3 which is where it is on the outside and quite large but can be pushed back in, I have spoke to my mum about it but she said its nothing to worry about and its fine just leave it, but do they really go away on their own or do you have to get treatment or medicines for them to go away? embarrassing but need advice as im quite worried and want to get rid of it? thanks.

I’ve been having muscle "tightness" in my left flank area. I also have increased fat in my stools. I went to the doctor and he said that it was a muscle on that was tight on my side and the increased stools could be due to IBS since I have been under tremendous stress. I do have diarrhea one day and then a couple of days later, I’ll have constipation. Also, I have horrible hemorrhoids. I went to the ER and the doctor there said that they were terrible (I actually have 3 really big ones) and that I needed to see a surgeon. I have low-back tightness and left hip tightness as well. With all that being said, I still have the tight feeling in my left side, not so much the fatty stool but my rectum hurts deep and my hemorrhoids are really bad and I’m constipated. I also notice this groove in my stool that goes the length of my stool. I have convinced myself that I have colon cancer! Im a 35 yo female w/ no family hx. of cancer. My blood work was all negative in May. In the past 2 years, I’ve had 2 abd. ultrasounds and a CT of the abdomen w. contrast which were all unremarkable. No bloody stools but a couple of times did see red blood streaks on toilet paper (from hemorrhoids). Stools are normal size. Am I freaking out over nothing? Could it be levator ani syndrome, possible internal hemorrhoids? Just looking for an answer besides cancer (I’ve been looking on the internet too much)!

my doctor has done nothing to help out with my hemorrhoids(srry if i spelled it wrong) and i think with me pushing the baby out will make it ten times worst

I have been dealing with external hemorrhoids for a few years, but now almost every time I go to the bathroom I notice a big bump that swells up and then goes away after a few hours. It is quite annoying. I think I need to go to the doc but am afraid of the Surgery word.

I went into the doctor for severe abdominal pain and possible internal hemorrhoid. She had me strip from the waist down, did not leave the room and did not pull the privacy curtain. than she had me get on the table and put my feet in stirrups. She did not give me a sheet to cover my legs with and still did not pull the curtain. anyone could have walked in and seen everything. she also proceeded to do an anal exam and did not use very much lubricant and was very forceful and rough. keep in mind i was already in a lot of pain down there. after all that she had me get dressed, still did not leave the room or pull the curtain and when i asked her what she thought was wrong she said "i don’t know" and i asked her for something for the pain and she just said have a nice day and walked out. can i sue for emotional distress? i feel violated and very embarrassed from all this

Today I experienced a strange occurrence at the bottom of my anus, there are no lumps or piles, initially felt itchy, but painful over time so if you sit down, my friend said I was suffering from hemorrhoids, I was scared and anxious, I ask for help how to get rid hemorrhoids fast, please? is there any book or e-book which can explain all this?

Okay here’s the deal: I had the surgery in December of 2008. For about a month I’ve been having sharp pains in my upper abdomen like right under my rib cage. These pains come and go and last from about 2-5 minutes. From time to time there is blood in stool. I was told if it was bright red it’s probably just your hemorrhoids and since I’ve had hemorrhoid problems before I figured this was the case. On Saturday I noticed not only was the blood on the tissue but it was intwined in the stoll and there was a lot of it. So I called my surgeon and he told me to get myself to the ER. I went they did blood work xrays and a rectal exam to check for blood. My blood work was okay and so where the x rays but there was blood found during the rectal exam. They sent me home and told me to contact my surgeon as they were not familer with gastric bypass the way he was. He sent me up for a cat scan gave me some pain medication and sent up a follow up with him. I’m kinda of worried (I have an Anxiety Disorder) that something serious could be wrong. Like my pouch (new stomach) could have rippedor something. These pains cannot people gallstones as I do not have a gallbladder. Has anyone been though this or know anyone who has. Can anyone ease my mind until I see my surgeon about what this could be? The ER did a pregnancy test it was negitive so it isn’t that. Thanks!

I’ve always been chronically constipated but I was always too afraid to tell my doctor. Tomorrow I am going to see him, and tell him once an for all that I suffer chronic constipation because I am tired of this condition. I’m always bloated, in pain, and have external hemorrhoids. What will/can my doctor do to help me?! This has been going on for too long!

ok im going to try to make this as clean as i can but im starting to get worried and i got to wait 2wks just to see a new gyn ok my main problem is that two days ago i notice blood when i go number 2 and kinda a lot i thought i was on my time of the month because of the way it looked but it wasn’t. I’m not sure what it could be i had a baby in May and i had a small hemorrhoid in the inside that only came out when i did(you know what) but it never hurt or anything, and i was told to use the wipes which i did. I also got a rash in between the two areas like where they meet which makes sex very painful. it feels like when you have a sore and it irritate and sore is how it feel i think it’s raw. I know you’ll not doctors but i just feel like im going in circles i been to the doctor 3 times and they say the same thing it’s not a Std it could Bacteria and they give me a shoot. I also have a IUD that i have been trying to out of me cause i think that’s some of the problem to but it’s hard to make time. Please help me any advice even what can i tell the doctor so maybe they can run diff test anything this can’t be normal.
