The situation is that I have external hemorrhoid for the first time.
Please I will really like some advice on how to treat this thing at home.

Ok, im a 19 year old male and just noticed a little blood on the toilet paper after i "took the Browns to the Bowl" if you know what i mean. It wasn’t much, but i wiped and their was blood, and i went some more, wiped, and there was blood again. I also have noticed a little bulge around the hole and also itch every now and then. I know that bleeding is a sign of cancer, but i thought colon cancer happened to older people like 50+ since you don’t get checked for it until then. Im thinkin hemorrhoids b/c of the bumb and bright red blood, but just wanted to see what yall think

Ok i found out i have a external hemorrhoid, my doctor recommended some cream, and said its a ‘common thing’. I went to the chemist brought it and spoke to a staff there who said just use it for a few days.

I can still feel it there, it feels like i have no reassurance. what the hell do i do??

I have this cut or sore that is about halfway between my anus and my tailbone. It’s been there for a while now, probably a month, possibly more. Sometimes I see blood on the toilet paper when I go to the toilet. Before it would seem to heal for a few days and then come back, recently I thought it fully healed but then what seemed like a lot more blood came out, but now it does not seem to be bleeding much anymore.

It actually looks like there might be two cuts right next to each other, before if I remember it looked red like an open wound, now it appears to look like a scab.

I want to tell someone IRL about this so I know I’m not going to die or something, but it is pretty embarrassing so thats easier said than done. I have looked on the internet and most of the things people say are hemorrhoids, an anal fissure or a pilondial cyst. I’m fairly sure its none of them, but I’m just guessing according to what I have read. Also, I know its not infected, because then it would be hurting right?

I am stressed out about this, if it appears to heal do you think I should just chill out a bit or is there a good chance that this could be serious?

Went to the doctor, it is not hemorrhoids, and I took a pill for worms over a week ago and it did not help. Any ideas on what it could be? It is really uncomfortable and it happens usually 10-20 min after i go to the bathroom. Also, topical steroid (hydrocortozone) that doctor prescribed is not really working that well.

I just gave birth on Thursday and I had the above problem during my pregnancy.

It now seems to have got worse (what with all the pushing out of baby it must put some pressure in the back area also).

So do any mums have some home remedies for this? I’m just using Anusol at the moment but I’m always interested in alternative pain relief.

my period was 3 months late so i went to the dr and i wasn’t pregnant but i found out my hormones was a little off and the dr recommended i start using bcp if i didn’t want to get pregnant and will cause my menstrual to be regular so i accepted. but now i had to wait until my period came on before i could start using the pills. my period finally came on and i started the pills that 1st sunday like i was instructed. i was told that my period would now be a 28 day cycle. 2 weeks into taking the pills i just didn’t feel right i was so emotional, nausea all the time and i threw up in the middle of the night i didn’t like that at all.
so i stop taking the pills my period came on right after which was early 21 days i was shock but anyways it lasted 5 days it was regular. 2 days later i sneeze and my period came right back on lasted 5 days heavy with some blood clots i figured maybe that was backed up blood because i was so late, 3 more days later period came on light but only when i wipe and tat has been going for the last 5 days. im going on 3 weeks with unusual bleeding
im curious if anyone may have any situation like this or know anything about this issue.

Alright, well it doesn’t happen all the time, but sometimes when I wipe my butt, there is blood (even if I don’t poop). But I noticed today there was more than usual and there was even some blood in the toilet. I was constipated a few days ago, and my butt hole kind of burns. I’m thinking I might of ripped the tissue when I was constipated and now every time I poop it just rips it back open. I know that wouldn’t explain the other times I’ve seen blood, so I was wondering if you could tell me what it might be.

I’m 18 almost 19. The bleeding has been going on off and on for maybe a year. I just had the courage to tell my mom today b/c I was scared of letting her know. My mom thinks it might just be hemorrhoids. But the only sign I have for that is the blood. My poop is normal colored. So I know there isnt any blood in my stool. I just want to make sure it’s not something really serious. My grandma just recently found out she has colon cancer and I just want to make sure it’s nothing that serious. You can leave your answer on here or email me. I’d probably get it faster if you email it. My mom said if I’m still seeing blood tomorrow, then she’s going to take me to the doctors.
