but that happens sometimes when i apply the prep h. i have read so many horror stories of how they stay inflammed for ever and you are never able to be normal again and you have to CONSTANTLY watch what you eat. Im only 18 and will be entering college soon i
am never going to be able to experience the life of a normal college student like drinking and having fun because i have to worry about hemorrhoids. What did i ever do to deserve this, ^sigh^ kill me now.

I have a friend who gets hemorrhoids occasionally. Sometimes that person will you a cream or something, but if it really really bugs them, then they use nail clippers and cut it out or off. I am kind of concerned about their health and safety. As I don’t have hemorrhoids, I don’t know what to think about this "procedure". Should I try to convince them to stop or go to a doctor? they said they had gone to the doctor, but that the experience was more painful and terrible than doing it themselves. Is there a health risk or anything? Basically, is it okay for someone to remove their hemorrhoids by themselves by cutting it out or off?

Also, this person feels safe doing so. They shower first to clean the area, then sterilize the clippers by boiling water and alcohol. And they clean the area afterward.

Ok so i grew some really nasty hemorrhoids in my anal area does anybody know how to get rid of them? please!

I really need some help. I’ve asked on here before but i don’t have any of the essentials or much money. my mom is going to buy me a sits bath tomorrow, and ive read that the doctor will just try to remove them or put a rubber band around them and apparently the recovery is probably the worst pain you’ll ever experience. they are external. my dad bought me some magnesium citrate, but i told him my bowels feel like theyre moving since improving my diet, just i cant go and i am backed up *it feels like the inside of it being swollen is stopping me from passing a bowel*. it is runny and diarrhea like, so its irritating the hemorrhoids cause im backed up. my dad keeps telling me to drink it and that i will go, but i hear that just makes the hemorrhoids worse and that is something I don’t want to do. i have bowel movements 1-2 times a day. they are runny but small. if there are some natural remedies like maybe yoga, exercise i really am all for it. i can’t seem to put the prep h *up there* i tried for an hour today and almost an hour and a half the night before last i just couldn’t get it up there, the tube is too short to reach. i really need some help and relief guys, the more people that respond the better…

Ok. I’m 18 and I think I may have hemorrhoids. It feels very uncomfortable very often, especially right before I have a bowel movement. But then after I go it feels completely fine. I know that it is not external hemorrhoids but could I have internal ones? I have felt this way before and it has lasted for maybe a month or so. It almost feels like I don’t completely empty when I go number 2. But then the feeling goes away for a month or so. Then comes back. Blood does not come out when I go and it seems like it may last longer than the average hemorrhoids. Could it be something more serious like cancer? I eat fairly well but not great, and I exercise quite a bit. It is not painful, I just want to be sure it’s not too serious. I also seem to be constipated sometimes. But not always.
How long can hemorrhoids last? Could I possibly be having them for a long period of time and then they go away for a while?
Any other thoughts are much appreciated. Thanks!

TMI!! im a 25 yr old fairly healthy female, ….this is awful and sorry to ask such a gross question but since yesterday i had went to the bathroom and when i passed gas a bit of blood tinged mucus came out…followed by bowel movement…today same thing except for i had a bit of pain going to the bathroom and my stool also had red streaks on it, took tylenol helped with the pain, went to the ER and they ran blood tests all came back fine a CT scan came back fine also rectal exam showed what they said traces of blood which they said was better then the whole card turning blue which i guess means exseive bleeding, they recomended me to a GI doctor and scheduled for a colonoscopy, im just so scared and nervous i dont want it to be UC or Chrohns or better yet colon cancer….does this sound like hemeroids, im not in any pain other then that one instance until tylenon kicked in im nervous so i think that is getting the best of me right now..thanks for reading
They said they did not see any presence of external Hemorrhoids but they said it is possible for it to be internal which they may or may not be able to see

Okay, this is kinda gross, so don’t read on, unless you have serious answers.

My daughter was born 16 months ago, and I got hemorrhoids from being pregnant. They never really went away, but didn’t bother me at all. Anyways, a couple weeks ago, I was constipated and had a *sorry, this is so embarrassing* large bowel movement, and it was REALLY painful and there was quite a bit of blood (on TP and in toilet). It was pretty painful for a few days, but subsided. But now, any time I have a bowel movement (even with taking stool softener) it stings, kinda burns, kinda itches and blood drips in toilet and on TP.

I did research, I know its either the hemorrhoids and/or an anal fischer.

So here’s my question… I just got married and my husband applied for me to be on his insurance… I don’t have any right now. It’s probably going to take a couple weeks for it to be in effect… Can this wait until I get my insurance to see a doctor?

So, I think I have a hemorrhoid. I’m actually leaving on a trip to Washington D.C. for the National Young Leaders program in about a week and a half. It’s not like the pain is unbearable [it's certainly not the worst I've ever had], but the flight’s five hours and I don’t want to be in a certain amount of uncomfort the whole time. Can you imagine? I’ve looked up some treatments, I just want to know what’s the least and most amount of time it will take?

Okay, so I’m 16 and I think I have hemorrhoids, but I’m really not sure. So basically I have small sort of grey/purple lumps inside my bum, but the thing is they’re hardly noticeable and you can only really see them if I sort of squat down, even then it’s hard to see. (sorry if this is TMI)so from what I’ve read I think they may be internal hemorrhoids, however I don’t have any of the signs like itching, burning, blood. So I’m really confused. I’m in no pain or anything what-so-ever. I think they’ve actually been there for awhile now. I just want to know what they are. I know you’re all probably going to tell me to just see a doctor, but I really don’t wan to as that’d be so embarrassing and it’s embarrassing enough having to ask a bunch of strangers. I can’t talk to my Mum as she’s not around any more, and this would be really awkward to discuss with my dad. So if anyone can help I’d appreciate it a lot. Thank you.
