ok so im a teenage girl..i dont get my period regularly(i think its a hormone inbalance or whatever).and about a month ago i had blood in my stool. not alot that it made the toilet water completly red. it was not at the point of even dripping. but when i um..wiped..it had a bit of blood and then a week later a bit more blood. it went away though. i do not have any bleeding now. i had no pain or discomfort though when i was getting blood in my stool. but past 2 days now i’v been getting an uncomfortable sore feeling in my stomach.my upper stomach..right side. Is it related to this??..is this hemmorhoids or something else?..im worried. i’v booked an appoinment with the doctor but just for my own releif and satisfication i’d like to get an idea of what it could be.
please help?

the other day i realised i had a pain and itch in my butt. the pain is worse when i sit down onto the toilet and the area is red and swollen. there has been blood in my stool a few times and i read that this is very common and is most probably hemorrhoids?

i was wondering if there is any self treatment for this, as i am uncomfortable going to a doctor about it. i read that eating soft foods and fiber helps but is there anything else to make it go away?

So ive had what i thought to be hemorrhoids for a month or longer now and there is no end in sight… sometimes blood in the stool sometimes not as much. Just a minute ago there was what seemed like a lot of blood and when i went to clean up there was actually blood running down my leg… so that caught my attention. It hurts when i use the bathroom like hemorrhoids does or whatever but with this much blood its got me worried. So is this normal? what should i do? How do i get rid of these without an expensive doctor visit. FYI im a 22 yr old otherwise healthy male. Thanks for your help guys!

I am not normally constipated, but as a result of a bad tooth I was not eating, and I was on a combination of antibiotics and pain killer (vicodin). I was severely constipated, so much so that after having not been able to go for about a week I did a saline enema. This ended the constipation; however, it lead to what has not become a very big nuisance and worry, rectal bleeding.
I have been bleeding 2-3 tablespoons of blood out of my bum 3-5 times a day for the last week. I called my family doctor, and he told me to go to the Emergency Department. There, they did an obstruction series of x-rays on my lower bowel (and found no blockage) also some blood work to see if my hemoglobin was OK (which it was), and a rectal exam in which he said he felt a "dry" inner hemorrhoid, and an amount of blood came out when he did the rectal exam. He said to schedule an appt. with my fam. doc. to set up a colonoscopy. It was probably a hemorrhoid from the constipation, but he thought it best I was checked out with the colonoscopy.
So, today is day 7 of this conundrum. I am tired, and tired of bleeding. It is also very worrisome. So, should I go back to the Emergency Dept. (being that it is sat. and my doctors office is closed)? Or, should I wait it out a few more days until my doc’s office is open?

My baby girl will be 3 mths on Thurs ever since she was about 3 weeks to a mth old I have been having probs with hemorhoids. I’ve never had them before and some days it’s worse than others but just when I think it’s feeling better then I go to the bathroom and it starts all over again. I’ve been using some Rexall medicated wipes. They seem to help a bit. Any suggestions?

Anus itching/burning really bad. bleeding when wiping. It started off just burning while i walked, then the next day it started itching, then the next day it was burning, and then it was itching again. This has been going on for about 4 days now, im only 14. Im a male. I don’t see any worms or anything in feces. But i feel like i can feel stuff moving around, it could just be my imagination though. Can anybody help? whats the cause, what can help it? can i fix it without going to a doctor? thank you very much.

I have an internal hemorrhoid. It isn’t prolapsed nor does it prolapse when I make a bowel movement. The only symptom I have from it is that it is EXTREMLY iainful everytime I make a bowel movement.

Is it possible to have an internal hemorrhoid that is painful without it prolapsing? What can I do about the pain? Please help!!!!

i’m a gay male in my early 20s. i’ve had issues with hemorrhoids since my late teens, but mostly external ones. lately, though, i’ve had some pain internally, and am not sure what the problem is. for some reason i’m scared that i have HPV. i’m normally very safe (have had maybe a couple risky encounters, none recently). i’ve heard that genital warts to not hurt, and the problem that i have is causing me pain, particularly when i go to the bathroom.

i want to go get tested, and to have a doctor take a look and make a diagnosis. i called a few clinics but they said they don’t do hpv screenings for male patients. is this something i can see a regular doctor about if i go in for a check up?

i’m freaking out about what the problem is and what my next move should be.
there is a larger, hemorrhoid like lump externally, and 1 or 2 smaller bumps internally, all of which become aggravated and cause a little pain when i go to the bathroom.

This is quite an embarrassing question, but here it goes…
I recently formed a small, fleshy lump just above my anus, and I’ve had it there for a week now. It’s quite small, and not painful unless I tense, or when I’m cleaning after going to the toilet (even then I can hardly describe it as pain). I’ve tried pushing it back in, but it doesn’t work, and I’m not constipated. It doesn’t bleed either. I’m only a young teen, so what should I do about it? I eat quite a lot of fibre, and I only go when ‘nature calls’, which I’ve heard could affect hemorrhoids.

I’m a female in my mid 20’s with 2 children. I have developed a prolapsed hemorrhoid and have had it for about a year and 1/2 now. At least I first noticed it a year and 1/2 ago. I looks like a piece of reddish/pinkish swollen skin protruding through my anus. It stick out all the time but it does get smaller between bowel movements. It causing discomfort as well. What will the Dr. do for me? I plan to go see her soon for this. What can I do at home besides sitz baths? I’ve been putting Vaseline on it mainly to relieve itching. I’ve been reading about treatments online and the idea of any sort of surgery freaks me out!!! I had my gallbladder out back in March and I have enough digestive issues from that and I keep reading people having problems with that after surgery. I’ve also heard it’s terribly painful! I have 2 little ones at home and my husband works a lot so that really worries me! Also, I read it can become strangulated, how logn does it take for that to happen? Will it get worse before that happens or will it just happen out of the blue? I’m SO SCARED! HELP!!!!
