this is really embarrassing and im really worried… i think i have a hemorrhoid..
i have a pea sized bump on my anus
i havent been eating too well lately so i have been constipated
im not overweight.. i heard being overweight can cause hemorrhoids but im not
it doesnt really hurt or burn

im really embarrassed to tell my mom about this and i know you cant get rid of it forever, but i dont want to have surgery to get rid of it. is there anything else i can do to make it go away? also, is this really bad??

I had a little girl about 6 months ago and after pushing her out i got hemorrhoids really bad! Every once in awhile i get stools with blood on it and on the toilet paper..should i be worried? I am in the process of getting health insurance right now..so i cant see a doctor until i do.

I went to the docs to make sure i had a hemorrhoid and sure enough he for sure said i had an external one. He did give me some ointment and some suppositories and I used them both. The ointment really shrunk the sucker a lot. Now every now and then I will have blood droplets in the toilet, and sometimes its streaks of blood. The blood color is bright red. Ever since ive been to the docs and got medicine for it the intervals of when I bleed increase, meaning I went a week without anything, then I went a few weeks, and now I was up to a month or so with nothing. I dont feel pain, i dont get nautious, I dont feel fatigued all the time, Im really perfectly fine. Even when I go to the bathroom it used to hurt because of the Hemorrhoid, but now I feel no pain. Really all I want to know is, if there is anything I can do to prolong the time between the bleeding or completely stop it. I am considering the rubber band removal process too, but not now.
The bleeding would be either be very little amount of streaks, or droplets AFTER the bowel was passed. So I may have an internal hemorrhoid. I am also 19 years old.

Damn, I am in more pain than a backdoor virgin in prison. Please offer suggestions. Anusol does not work. I need home remedies.

I’ve been having problems with my bowel movements for the past year or so. I saw my doctor, and she said I had a minor case of hemorrhoids and recommended that I take my time on the toilet. Since then, the pain has mostly subsided, except since yesterday, I’ve been feeling a raw sensation down there, and I’ve just bled enough to make all the water red. Sorry for the graphic description, but does anyone have experience with something like this and can give me some tips before I see my doctor again?

I have what i believe is a small external hemorrhoid right on the edge of my anal opening, and it rarely hurts but im still not sure if thats what it is..all the symptoms point to yes..

1. Is that what i really have?
2. What do i do to make it go away?
3. Will vaginal sex make it worse? ( Tomorrow is my anniversary with my boyfriend and it would suck if we couldnt have sex)

I’ve had an external hemorrhoid for a couple of years…I’ve changed my diet long ago and it hasn’t bled or caused me any pain for at least a year. Butt it still itches. And it’s so unsexy.
What kind of a doctor do you see to get this removed? Regular PCP? Gynie? Dermatologist? And do they numb you first? Does insurance typically cover it?
