I’m only 21 years old, and the last couple of times I had a bowel movement, I have had blood on the tissue paper. I’m assuming this is caused by hemorrhoids. What should I do?

Someone at work told me that you should just go in the shower, get the hemmy all warm and moist, grab it and just SQUISH it between your fingers, like popping a grape. Then take little scissors and cut the remaining dangling skin. Does this work? I would have to be drunk to work up the courage! Of course you would douse the wound in an anti-spectic wash afterwards, gotta be safe!

Ok I’m really desperate. I asked this question in other sections. I went to all these sites online that say to lose weight if you want relief from hemorrhoids. I get that you need to exercise to help move your bowels but I still don’t understand how losing weight helps the hemmorrhoids? None of these sites explain that. I’m so confused and I already went to the doctor, and I’m just very desperate. Please help.

Does the needle procedure cure an internal hemorrhoid?

I gave birth 2 1/2 weeks ago and I got hemorrhoids from pushing so hard during labor (sorry if this is gross!) They are really painful and it hurts to sit/walk/go to the bathroom. How do I get rid of them, or at least make them stop hurting?
